Daniel Romeo, born Călărași (Romania), has a long migration experience, having travelled and worked in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Spain. He currently lives in Granada.

He has contributed to the Pilot and Extended Survey as research assistant, consultant and mediator with Roma families residing in Granada and Malaga. Daniel is specialized in working in contexts where Spoitori Romani dialect (Balkan –zis variant) is spoken. In the MigRom project he carried on several interviews in such language, transcribed them using academic Romani codification and translated them into Spanish or Romanian languages.
